Using the internet safely and responsibly. Understand what is appropriate and what is not and learn to understand what is deemed to be trustworthy online. They will learn about the different types of attacks that can happen and understand how to protect themselves.
Students will discuss what the different threats are out there. They will examine real life case studies and explain what they think went wrong and what could the individual/organisation have done to prevent the incident. Students will also think about their own devices and how safe is it from the online threats.
Students learn about the different threats that come with the advancement of technology, deepening the knowledge further through research and wider reading.
