Students will be learning about risks which individuals take in order for them to gain financial independence. Students explore and reflect their own calculated risks they take in life for a better future.

DIVERSITY

Students will explore British local businesses as well as exploring entrepreneurs from different walks of life such as Huda Khattan.

CULTURAL CAPITAL

• Individual liberty - Students will read the article and identify the importance of making choices between starting own business or working for someone else.

• Moral - Students looking at the moral issues associated with Huda Beauty business promotion and advertising.

• Ethical debate - Animal testing on cosmetic products. Students will discuss whether it is right or wrong.

KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER

• History - Students will look at historic products.

• Science - Students will look at old products that are obsolete that were revolutionary such as products made by Nicola Tesla.
