OVERVIEW

In this section students will look at different sampling techniques that are used to gather information about populations and communities within different ecosystems.  They will then go on and explore how humans are threatening biodiversity and what actions are needed to ensure our future health, prosperity and well-being.  Students will then look at different strategies that are used to provide enough food for the human population and evaluate these techniques.  The last part of this module covers health and disease where students look at how communicable diseases are spread and how they can be reduced and cured as well as looking at how they differ to non-communicable diseases.
