Meet the Counselors

Mrs. Schneider

Mrs. Schneider has spent the last three years working as a School Counselor at Delta High School. The five years prior to that, she worked at a professional theatre in Denver. She enjoys watching movies and playing with her cats!


Mrs. Schneider obtained a Bachelors of Arts with an emphasis in Theatre and a minor in American Sign Language from Adams State University in 2010. She then went on to obtain her Masters of Arts in School Counseling in 2016 also from Adams State University. She has been a licensed, practicing Professional School Counselor since the Fall of 2016.

Ms. Banfield

6th, 7th, & 8th graders last names A-M

Ms. Banfield has spent her career serving families, children and teens. Last year she was the school- based therapist at Delta Middle School. The 20 years prior to that she worked as a therapist in private practice, serving youth in her community. She enjoys spending time with her family, raising chickens, and gardening


Ms. Banfield obtained a Bachelors of Arts from University of California, Santa Barbara and her Master's in Social Work from Colorado State University. She has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2004.
