Building up a quality classroom library takes time and can be an overwhelming task for any teacher.
The Delta Teacher Support program has a limited number of classroom library starter kits to help early career teachers fill in the gaps while they are building up their own collections.
We have kits designed for both K-3 and 4-7 classrooms. Each kit contains about 150 books- that will help you to meet the needs of your diverse learners.
Get more books into the hands of your students!
Here's how it works. You will:
1.Receive 2 bins filled with 150ish titles.
2.Share these books as you would any of your own books- as read alouds, for independent reading, as mentor texts, for explicit instruction.
3.Return the books in June. Just pack them up and send them back to us.
