Educational Background and Professional Experience: This will be my 6th year teaching as a 1st grade teacher and my first year teaching in a SLIP Program. I hold a BCLAD Teaching Credential and a Single Subject Spanish Credential. I have worked for the Escondido School Union District as a Spanish dual-immersion 1st grade teacher and at Poway Unified School District as an Impact teacher for their 1st grade Spanish reading intervention program.
I am excited to be part of Ashley Falls Spanish immersion program and to witness how the program will continue to grow and flourish.

First grade is such a magical year. Your child will grow leaps and bounds both academically, socially, and in maturity. It is important to remember that each child is individual and will grow at their own rate so please try not to compare your child with others.
I try to create a safe and loving environment where students feel comfortable to take risks and share thinking. I will be guiding your child with love while still holding them accountable in order to reach grade level expectations.
