The School with A Heart!
Welcome!
With over 25 years of experience in the Del Mar Union School District, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of students—from preschoolers just beginning their communication journey to school-age learners and those with moderate to severe communication needs. My work has taken me across multiple school sites, allowing me to build strong connections with students, families, and colleagues throughout our community.
I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders from San Diego State University, along with the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a California state license. My approach combines research-based strategies with a deep belief in the power of connection and communication to support each student’s growth.
Above all, I strive to create a welcoming and encouraging environment where every student feels valued, capable, and confident in their ability to communicate.

I believe connection is the foundation of all learning, and communication is the bridge that makes it possible.
When students feel understood and valued, they are empowered to share their ideas, build relationships, and express themselves with confidence.
My goal is to help each student discover the power of their voice and the many ways it can connect them to the world around them.
I live in Carlsbad with my family and three rescue dogs: Gracie, Baxter, and Hank.
Outside of school I enjoy:
Spending time with family and friends, Going to the beach, Camping, Hiking, Reading, Yoga, Pilates, Cooking,
and most of all Traveling.
