Educational Background and Professional Experience:
I earned my Bachelor of Arts and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from San Diego State University, and I also attended the University of San Diego for graduate courses in Education. I have taught 5th, 6th, and 2nd grade here at Ocean Air. This will be my 14th year teaching!

What to Expect in Second Grade
I am thrilled that you are going to be in my class this year! I have been busy preparing lots of fun activities for our class. I know this year will be fabulous, and I can’t wait for it to begin! We will be going on many adventures through the books we read and growing together as readers, writers, and mathematicians. I know that second grade will be a great year for you and your classmates.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my family, friends, and exploring the outdoors. I have a baby girl at home and she keeps me very busy! Visiting new places, going on walks, and spending time at the beach are a few of our favorite things to do. :)
