Educational Background and Professional Experience:
I earned my Bachelor of Arts and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from San Diego State University, and I also attended the University of San Diego for graduate courses in Education. I have taught 1/2 and 4th grade in Poway, and 5th and 6th grade here at Ocean Air!

What to Expect in Second Grade
I am thrilled that you are going to be in my class this year! I have been busy preparing lots of fun activities for our class. I know this year will be fabulous, and I can’t wait for it to begin! We will be going on many adventures through the books we read and growing together as readers, writers and mathematicians. I know that second grade will be a great year for you and your classmates.
Life Outside of the Shark Tank
Outside of school, I love spending time with family, friends, and exploring the outdoors. Hiking and going to the beach are a couple of my favorite things to do, but I also love just spending time at home baking or reading a good book!
