Welcome

Welcome to Ocean Air! My name is Dina Balfour and this year I will be teaching a Kindergarten. I began teaching thirty-one years ago in San Bruno, California and have been teaching in Del Mar for twenty-eight years. I have taught Kindergarten for twenty-three years, first grade for one year, and second grade for seven years. I am very excited to be back in Kindergarten after teaching a K/1 combo class last year.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and my multiple subject teaching credential from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

I was born and raised in Southern California and enjoy all that it has to offer. I enjoy hiking, biking and exploring the outdoors. I am happily married with two adult children and a sweet dog.
