Please follow this link www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/index.html for the latest recommendations concerning Covid -19 infection. The Delaware River Rowing Club reserves the right to adjust Covid protocols based on the latest recommendations from U.S. Rowing and from the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
If you feel sick, please do not come to the boathouse. Take care of yourself and know that we will be here for you when you feel better.
Self-report to Joan Eddis-Koch jeddiskoch@delawareriverrowingclub.org if you have had known exposure to COVID-19 in the last 14 days and attended the boathouse since your known exposure. Do not attend the boathouse for 14 days after the date of your known exposure. Receive approval from a Dr. before exercising after contracting COVID-19.
BOATHOUSE
Please Sanitize your hands when arriving and leaving the boathouse. Please provide your own hand sanitizing wipes
or hand sanitizer.
DOCK
When launching/landing, physical/social distancing should be maintained as best as possible. Multiple
boats on the dock should be allowed only if proper physical/social distancing
requirements as well as safety requirements can be met.
EQUIPMENT
1. After rowing, sanitize the inside of the boat - slide, oars locks and anything touched.
2. Sanitize oars before and after rowing - handles and shaft
3. Wipe down the outside of the boat with a towel or rag (take towel/rag home to be washed)
4. Please take the towel/rag home with you and wash it after wiping down boats. Return towel when clean.
