Bus Riders to Graduation (Update 5/20)
This is the list of students confirmed to ride the bus to the graduation ceremony.
If your name is in RED and says Confirm RT next to it you
did not indicated if you were riding the bus back to school or leaving with your parents.
If your name is in RED - DM me and tell me how you are leaving the cermony.
Usually everyone leaves with their loved ones and nobody rides the bus back.
The bus back to school leaves immediately after the ceremony and there is no time to hug and take pictures. Also we don't want to leave you stranded @Hallford.
If you are no longer riding the bus at all let me know too by DM.
Also no new names can be added to the list (deadline was March 31).
Departure time from the school on 5/27 is 11:45 am. The bus will leave immediately after the ceremony, so again, be sure to confirm your way home.
Senior Exams Update
New Exam Days
May 17th and 18th
New Graduation Rehearsal Date
Wednesday, May 19th
DeKalb County yesterday put out a senior schedule for all schools to follow - so we have to adjust our dates.
The good news is you now have until May 24 to pass all of your
classes in order to graduate. So you have gained 2 weeks on that. Begin communicating with your teachers now so that you
can raise your grades.
Senior Dues
Senior Dues are now being collected.
You MUST pay your senior dues using the online payment system. No physical cash or checks will be accepted due to COVID.
No Caps and Gowns will be distributed until dues are paid.
Dues cover - cap and gown, diploma, diploma cover, shirts, and sign
Go here to pay dues https://webstores.activenetwork.com/school-software/druid_hills_high_sch/
The only students allowed to use the $40 payment option are those who paid Junior Dues in full or won an Instagram Contest. Their names are listed below. Everyone else must use the $90 option.
There is a convenience fee for paying dues online - I have already calculated this into the dues and that is why the cost is not $100.
Dues must be paid by May 7th.

Tickets to Graduation
Dekalb County has announced all students will receive 8 tickets to graduation. They are supposed to be distributed a week before the event. We have not received the tickets yet at Druid Hills. I hope to pass them out May 12th but I do not know if they will be in hand by then.
Graduation Announcements
Graduation announcements were not ordered for the students this year because of all the uncertainty regarding graduation and other senior events.
I am told that as of 4/13 Jostens.com can supply digital announcements and photo announcements in time for graduation but not the traditional paper announcements.
You may also elect to go to a private printer like Kinkos or a website like Shutterfly.
Prom
DeKalb county has announced that no school dances or proms will occur.
