AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is the nation's largest volunteer-run tax preparation and assistance service. And we want you to join the District 8 team.

We will be preparing tax returns from February 1 through April 15, 2020, in libraries and community centers in Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Bothell, Kenmore, Issaquah, and North Bend. Our sites have daytime schedules Monday through Saturday, but no evening hours. All tax preparers are required to work at least one session (7-8 hours) per week for the 10-week filing season, but many volunteers work 2 days a week.

As you know, tax law is complicated. It takes time and training to become familiar with the rules, software, and procedures. We want you to be comfortable and well-trained to assist taxpayer with their returns. We will support you throughout the process. It helps to be a self-starter, detail oriented, a people person/team player, and computer literate.
