Scheduling

DMS schedules are built with 8 periods each day.  All students are required to take the four core classes in the subjects of Math, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies.  Each student will be assigned a PAWS teacher and a lunch period based on grade level and/or team.  Every student has the potential of one, if not two, periods in their schedule of which they can choose elective courses.   At DMS, we have various options for year long and/or semester long courses.  Below are descriptions of the current electives being offered at DMS.  Please visit or contact your school counselor with any questions regarding student schedules.
