Our organization thrives when folks remain active & engages in projects. Together, we accomplish much more than the individual. Running an off-grid community like the Deeply Rooted Church takes an unbelievable amount of time, energy, & resources. We look to our membership to help us with the overwhelming task of maintaining the land & the buildings.

In exchange for hard work & volunteer time, we reward workers with good food, laughs, & work exchange coupons for our events. If you're handy with tools, cooking, or another skill, please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss volunteering opportunities.

We are in need of the following practical skills:

  • Carpentry & construction

  • Electrical / Wiring (for the Solar array)

  • Forest & trail management

  • Gardening

  • Cooking, dishes, general cleaning, laundry, & other domestic responsibilities

  • Childcare for events

Work Weekends are one of the many ways the members of our Tribe bond & accomplish shared goals. Our weekends consist of time spent providing maintenance to the facilities & the land our community calls home. During this time together, we share the task of the workload & enjoy the company of our friends. After a full day of work, we share stories, drum, & sit around the fire with a bowl of delicious food.

Our Work Exchange Program was created as an incentive for folks who wish to donate their time & resources to our numerous projects. The Work Exchange Program gives families who may have a large number of members a discount on events scheduled throughout the Wheel of the Year.
