Community Resources for Extended School Closure

Dear Families and Students,

Below you will find information and resources to guide work at home while school is closed. The activities listed below will support students in maintaining their understanding of skills and concepts covered in classes through review and enrichment.

Resources are organized by grade level. You will find separate sections for Elementary, Middle, and High School. Our educators will be updating the documents contained here regularly so be sure to return to this site daily.

If you have questions about some of the activities listed below, please reach out to your teacher(s). All of our teachers are holding virtual office hours, on each day of the school week, in order to provide students and families with defined times when they can expect responses to questions or requests for clarification or support with assignments, as well as feedback to support engagement with these activities. Most teachers are asking families to email them directly. If your child’s teacher has selected a different method of communicating, you will find that information in the office hours documents that are posted below. Here, you can find information about when your child’s teacher(s) are available for office hours.

Please let us know if there are other resources or information you would find helpful and we will do our best to find and post them here. We hope that you remain safe and healthy in the days and weeks ahead.

Sincerely,

Dr. Ian Kelly, Assistant Superintendent

Dr. Heather Smith, PK-8 Humanities Coordinator

Dr. Linda Kobierski, PK-8 STEM Coordinator
