The student must either have an active IEP or have exited their IEP within the past two years.

Hixson Presentation.MOVHixson Opportunity Awards
The Hixson Program is a $20,000 scholarship named in honor of Iowa native Christina Hixson.
One student from each county in the state of Iowa will receive this award each year.
Half-tuition scholarships (estimated value of more than $18,000 over eight semesters).

Each year, thousands of dollars are given to graduating Iowa High School seniors who plan to attend Iowa post-secondary schools. Scholarships are based on volunteerism, achievement, and financial need. Male and female students are encouraged to apply.
