Welcome to the UWI GC Faculty support SDG hub!
This site serves as your central reference point to support the planning and implementation of SDG-related activities in your courses. Here, you will find essential resources, a weekly activity schedule, and a link to a Google Form that you are required to complete to document your activities.
Please note that this is a ONE UWI initiative. However, for administrative and support purposes a faculty registration form is provided for all interested faculty from each of the UWI jurisdictions.
Step 1: 1st Fill Out This UWI GC Google Registration Form to Record Your SDG Activities and Submit Student Artifacts
To capture information related to your SDG course activities, please fill out the Google Form provided below. This form is designed to simplify the process of recording and tracking your SDG-related activities and outcomes. You can revisit the form to update the information provided and to provide any questions you may have as you work on this project (just check your email for a unique link sent to you after your first submission). This will allow us to effectively monitor progress, provide timely support, and address any challenges you may encounter.
This official UWIGC Google registration, interest and artifact submission form (Click here) is for UWIGC Faculty to provide the following (as outlined below):
Indicate Faculty Interest -
Please share your interest in participating in this project by providing answers to questions placed at the top of this registration form.
Identify Faculty Course and SDG Activities -
Use this form to capture your course information, indicate the SDGs and activities you plan to integrate (see below at step 3 for some small suggested activities as you only need to incorporate one activity).
Student and Faculty Artifact Submission (must be provided)
Once the students have completed their activities and submitted them, please use the form above to submit links to student-generated artifacts related to the SDG activities (e.g., PDFs, projects, videos, presentations, reports, etc. Faculty can decide on which resources are best for submission and via this form, hand over the best 3 projects completed by your students.

Step 2: Follow This 2-Week Faculty Initiation Schedule
Choose an SDG Theme and a Week To Come up with SDG Student Activities. You will see a 2-week schedule which outlines 4 key themes designed to guide the development of engaging student learning activities aligned with the SDGs.
You are encouraged to select one week that best aligns with the SDGs relevant to the planned activities for your course(s).
Then use the chosen week to decide on at least one (1) SDG (instructor constructed or) engaging student activity you can incorporate into your course (see step 3 for suggested activities).
N.B. You can reach out to your assigned university SDG Responsible Futures or CETL representative for help during the 2 -week period.
