22-23 Navigators’ work will center on the following themes:
2-3 THEME: Making the World a Better Place- one maker project at a time! We will focus on small problems worth solving. In January, we will begin passion projects focused on individual topic research and presentation skills.
4-5 THEME: Inventions/ STEAM Tank. We will design and build collaborative solutions to real-world problems. 2023 STEAM Tank short version playbook

6-7 THEME: Sustainability, Solutionaries, and Change. We will learn about creative activism through a study of literary, performance, and visual artists. In addition to studying solutions-focused art and artists, students will examine their own experience with the creative process, design original and collaborative work, and practice integrating art for social change into their own lives. In January, we will begin passion projects focused on individual topic research and presentation skills.
8 THEME: Place-based Learning. We will learn about creative place-based activism. This can include a community project, establishing a food garden, designing a rain garden or mindfulness space, or organizing a recycling standard approach, composting, repurposing, etc..
