I was privileged to grow up Catholic and a daughter of a Deaf deacon. Faith was present in my life as a child but it was never a devout practice. After going away to college, my faith became like a childhood toy, still there but never picked up and used. Through the grace of God, I was able to find true faith again, and I am ecstatic to share that faith and God’s light with all of you.
After challenges and tough times, my faith is now the most essential aspect of my life, and it has encouraged me to accept the position of Assistant Director with Be Lights. Most of my life is dedicated to helping young deaf children with their education, so I am also thrilled to work with young adults. May we all become shining beacons of His love together.
