Thank you for visiting my Ajax HS web page.
Please let me introduce myself...
My name is Scott Wade and I am originally from St. John's, Newfoundland. If you are curious about the image above it was taken in Iqaluit, Nunavut 2017 while I was visiting as a volunteer on a Habitat For Humanity build. At low tide we were able to walk out onto the sea bed and play in the icebergs!
I have been working in / serving the Ajax community since 2005 in a previous career and I'm proud to say I have been teaching at Ajax HS since 2014. Teaching became a dream of mine after working with trade apprentices for many years. In my class room the two keys to success for students are effort and positive attitude; from experience I know without those it is difficult to reach your goals.
I believe successful teaching means recognizing and meeting the needs of students in many ways. Therefore, with support from my fellow staff I organize and offer students a no cost Breakfast Program here in the mornings.
Here at Ajax HS I am the senior Construction Technology teacher, however, I have taught other courses. They include:

- BBi 201 Grade 10 Introduction to Business
