The purpose of the Cadarackque Library and Learning Commons is to provide students with:

1. Interesting and relevant reading material (in print and online) in English or French which is both age and reading-level appropriate;
2. Current, correct information in English or French which is relevant to both student interest and the Ontario Curriculum;
3. Instruction in research and inquiry skills and digital citizenship.
4. Extra-curricular activities that promote a love of reading

Borrowing Policy

1. Students are expected to take reasonable care of borrowed materials such as books, computers, ereaders, Lego, etc.
2. Students are expected to report lost or damaged materials.
3. Students are expected to replace lost or damaged materials where appropriate. While students have materials overdue (over three weeks) they will not be permitted to take out other materials.
4. Parents and guardians are asked to assist their children in keeping track of and returning materials which come home from the Library.
