Thanks for considering donating to Kids' Closet! We stock clothing (3T to adult), shoes, basic school supplies, and unused hygiene supplies for families in our district. Donations can be sent via Pony to Kids' Closet, South Powellhurst.
If you work in the building, please put them on the donation table upstairs (room 108) or the incoming donations area in the basement (room 211). If you are not a district employee and want to donate, email kids-closet@ddouglas.k12.or.us to set up a dropoff time.
Items we especially need right now, or go through quickly, are:
—fall/winter/spring kids’ clothes, especially pants (we typically receive many more adult clothing donations than kids' clothing donations)
—plus-sized clothing
—kids’ and youth size shoes
—deodorant (unopened)
Items we typically have plenty of, or go through very slowly, are:
—small and medium women’s clothes
—hats
—summer/seasonal items (shorts, tank tops, summery skirts and dresses)
—pajamas
We do not accept:
—formalwear
—clothes that aren’t school appropriate
—stained/torn/heavily worn items
—sizes 2T and smaller
—office supplies
—bedding, linen, etc
