7-12 Weight Training/Head Football/Assistant Track/Jr High Track

The goal of the DCS Strength Program is to improve Speed, Strength, Explosiveness, Flexibility and Injury Prevention. Our core lifts include various types of Squats, Bench Press, Hang/Power Cleans, and Jerks. We also do supplemental lifts and movements using Dumbbells, Kettlebells, Medicine Balls, and Plyometrics.

About Coach Spargo:

I am in my 10th year as a high school teacher and my 4th at DCS. I began my teaching career teaching PE/Weights at Alliance HS in 2010 also coaching Football and Track. I earned my Masters Degree at Chadron State College where I was an assistant football coach and PE instructor. I am married to Megan Spargo and we have three daughters Clara (12), Abigael (10), and Molly (8).
