Title I Documentation

What is Title I?

Title I is the largest federally funded program for elementary, middle and high school. Title I provides funds to school districts around the country based on the number of low-income families in each district. The big picture is title one is to help all students meet the same high standards and expectations.

School Parent and Family Engagement Policy

The parent and family engagement policy explains how the school plans to work with parents to review and improve parent programs and describes how parents can participate in planning these programs.   These documents are parent-friendly documents with a shared vision for student success through collaboration, engaging activities, and evaluation of goals

Grade Level Compacts

The school-parent compact outlines how parents,  school staff, and students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement, and the way in which the school and parents will build and develop a partnership to help children achieve the State’s high standards.  

Parent Post

The Parent Post is the district parent and family engagement newsletter for the Title I schools in Douglas County. It is sent home with students in Title I schools four times per year and is also available in Parent Resource Centers or in the front office of your school.
