Meet the Teacher

Hello Everyone! 

My name is Ms. Forkell and I am the new Language Arts Teacher for the Blazer team here at Cimarron Middle School! 

I just graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with my bachelors in Secondary Education. I student taught in the Aurora area, and I have been a teacher's assistant for about 2 years as I obtained my degree. 

I'm excited to be here, and I can not wait to see what this year will bring! 

A little bit about myself! I love reading, but I was never good at reading or speaking growing up! I strive to make reading relatable to all my students in the classroom. I love hiking, and I play the guitar and piano! When I'm not working, I'm usually with my family, and friends.
