Callers using a phone with a Colorado area code (303 or 720 or 719 or 970) who dial or text 988, will be routed to the Colorado resources that also answer the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and Colorado Crisis Services.

Callers who dial 988 using a phone with an area code not associated with a Colorado area code may be routed to National Suicide Prevention Lifeline resources in the state associated with their area code. To reach resources in Colorado from a non-Colorado area code, contact Colorado Crisis Services at 1-844-493-8255 or Text “TALK” to 38255.
