Eve King - 5th Grade Teacher
Mrs. King has been an educator for 18 years. She began her career in the Shawnee Mission School District in the Kansas City area where she taught 6th grade for four years. After getting married, she and her husband lived briefly in the Detroit area where she was a special education resource teacher for 6th-8th grade students. She's been teaching in the Douglas County School District for the past 12 years; she's served as a SPED learning specialist for six years and a 5th-grade teacher for six years. She proudly holds a B.S.Ed. in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Special Education from the University of Kansas and has extensive professional development in differentiated instruction, ranging from students with learning challenges to students who are identified as high achieving and/or Gifted & Talented (GT). She's excited to join the Eldorado family working with 5th-grade learners and serving on our Building Leadership Team.
Vicki Matta - 5th Grade Educational Assistant
Vicki is very excited to join the Eldorado learning community. She has taught 6th grade for 6 years in Lincoln, NE as well as multiple grade levels in Quincy, IL. Vicki grew up in Colorado and is so grateful to be back and to return to the classroom to support both the students and the terrific staff here. Vicki enjoys hiking with her husband when she is not working hard at Eldorado.
