What is Click Eat Go?

A sack lunch alternative offered by DCSD Nutrition Services that enables students to customize the lunch options they want to eat.

How do you customize orders?

Orders can be customized on the desktop website and/or app. Parents and students choose from a variety of entrée, fruit/vegetable and beverage options to build a meal which can be picked up in the lunchroom the next day.

What is Nutrislice?

Nutrislice is a website and mobile app that lets parents view the hot lunch menu for multiple schools in Douglas County. In addition to displaying the hot lunch menu they will also list the sack lunch menu and take orders.

Where can I find the sack lunch menu options?

A sack lunch menu is available on the Nutrislice app in the same spot where the hot lunch menu is located. Simply go to the Nutrislice site, select your school from the drop down menu, and view both the hot and sack lunch options.

Is nutrition/allergen information listed for each item?

Nutrition and allergen information is not currently posted on the menu, but that information can be obtained by contacting the Manager of Menu Services, Amy Faricy, at amy.faricy@dcsdk12.org or 303-387-0301.

Do the meals meet nutritional standards for school?

Yes, meals follow all nutrition standards mandated by the USDA, just like traditional hot lunches. They are low sodium, and contain at least 50% whole grains, fresh fruits and veggies.

What types of meal options are there?

Click Eat Go! provides a variety of cold sandwiches, wraps , protein boxes and salads; fruits and vegetables such as apples and carrots, and beverages including white or chocolate milk and water. Each meal contains a protein and a whole grain, such as cheese sticks or a muffin. Where possible familiar brand names are used including Otis Spunkmeyer, Goldfish and Annie’s. In total there are over 130 combinations available to build a customized lunch.

Will all meal options be available every day?

Yes, all meal options will be available every day, with the exception of cold pizza, which is only available on Thursday, the day after pizza day. (Yes, really. This was the number one student requested item!)

How do I place an order?

Simply add your desired lunch options to your cart and proceed to the checkout.

How much does the sack lunch cost?

$3.25, which includes the entrée, your choice of fruits and vegetables, and drink.

How do I pay for sack lunches?

Sack lunches can be purchased by credit card, or they can be charged to your students’ MySchoolBucks account, the same as hot lunch is charged.

Do students pick up the sack lunch in the same line as the hot lunch?

No, there is a separate station for sack lunches. Each sack is labeled with the student’s name so they can quickly locate their lunch.

Can I place a same day order?

No, orders must be placed at least one day in advance. Orders placed after midnight will not be available the following day.

Can I place multiple orders at once?

Yes, orders can be placed up to five days in advance.

What happens if I place an order but my child doesn’t eat it?

Orders are billed once they are picked up. If a sack lunch is not picked up because a student is absent they will not be charged. If the student is at school but does not pick up their lunch their account may be billed for items that can’t be re-used.

Do sack lunches qualify for the free/reduced lunch program?

Yes, sack lunches are considered “reimbursable” meals and as such are available to students on free and/or reduced meal plan
