Georgia Department of Community Supervision

Barbara began her career in Criminal Justice with the Georgia Department of Corrections as a Probation Officer in Cobb County. She was promoted to serve as the Director of Offender Administration until she transferred to the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles. In August, 2016, Barbara was appointed by the Commissioner of the Georgia Department Community Supervision as the Director of Misdemeanor Probation Oversight. She later advanced to and is currently the Georgia Department of Community Supervision's Director of Human Resources.

Barbara earned her Bachelor's Degree from Kennesaw State University and her Masters Degree from Columbus State University. She is a certified Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Council certified Senior Instructor.
