La’Sasha Bowden holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Conflict Management, both from Kennesaw State University. With a strong foundation in social dynamics and conflict resolution, she has developed her expertise through a variety of roles, including three years as a Community Supervision Officer, supporting individuals across diverse community settings. Currently, La’Sasha serves as a Research Assistant in the Strategic Planning and Analysis Division for the Department of Community Supervision. In this role, she acts as a practitioner, helping the team bridge the gap between research and real-world application. She is committed to leveraging her education and experience to make meaningful contributions to the field of criminal justice, while providing evidence-based insights to guide policy and practice.
