DHS, We go the Distance!!!

A Message from Our Principal

DHS Students, Parents, and Community,

I am very humbled and honored to begin the 20-21 school year as your principal! We have truly experienced some uncharted waters together during the 2019-20 school year, but we faced each challenge with strength, determination, and a collaborative spirit as one Dinwiddie High School family. It is still my hope that any person who has the opportunity to grace the halls of Dinwiddie High School would soon come to the realization that our school is a place for students to be safe, learn, grow, explore, and begin to establish their futures in a magnificent way. I also still believe that every child has talent, special qualities, and can learn if given time, proper resources, and support.

High expectations, accountability, and consistency will continue to be key components as we seek all opportunities for growth and move forward in achieving all goals.

My commitment to serving students, staff, and the community with integrity and dignity is still my greatest mission. Preparing our students to develop plans for life beyond Dinwiddie High School is at the heart of our mission. Teaching them by example to be good citizens who will contribute in a positive manner to the world in which they live is imperative.

While we continue to be a school where we are One FAMILY building excellence, we will also strive to be trailblazers who will lead the way in new methods of teaching and learning. We will go the distance in all we do with Navy Nation Pride!
