TEAS pre-entrance exam.

TEAS Information
The TEAS exam consists of four sections: all sections are completed via computer at our Chenango campus in the PN Classroom or Library.1. Reading: Key Ideas & Details 10%, Craft & Structure 6%, Integration of Knowledge & Ideas 10% (Time: 55 minutes / 45 questions) 26% of total score2. Math: Numbers & Algebra 12%, Measurement & Data 11% (Time: 57 minutes /38 questions) 23% of total score3. Science: Human Anatomy & Physiology 12%, Biology 6 %, Chemistry 5%, Scientific Reasoning 6% (Time: 60 minutes /50 questions) 29% of total score4. English and Language Usage: Conventions of Standard English 8%, Knowledge of Language 7%, Using Language and Vocabulary to Express Ideas in Writing 7% (Time: 37 minutes / 37 questions) 22% of total score

You can return the completed application and non-refundable exam fee of $95 to DCMO BOCES, Adult Education, School of Practical Nursing, 6678 County Rd 32, Norwich, NY 13815. Check or Money Order can be made out to DCMO BOCES. Please do not send cash with your application. If you prefer you can also pay by VISA or MasterCard over the phone by calling our Adult Education Department at 607-335-1210. Testing will be provided on a first come first serve basis as there are a limited number of seats available for each exam. No exam seats will be held without payment of the exam fee.
Consideration for Admission to the Practical Nursing Program requires a score of 50-55% overall on the TEAS exam
