Learning Support Assistant - SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) focus

NOR 1450 (including 260 in the Sixth Form)

32 hours per week, term time + 5 days

Band 4 - £14,854 - £16,079 (being prorate of £19,554 - £21,166

We are looking to appoint a specialist LSA position to support students and the school in the area SEMH. The role will involve supporting a range of students with varying needs both within the classroom and in smaller or 1:1 interventions. There is a focus within the post on supporting students with a specific group of additional needs and in supporting developing outstanding practice for their provision within school. The role will include liaising with students, staff and parents as well as tracking and recording interventions and progress outcomes.

In May 2017 we went through a very successful Ofsted Inspection as a 13 – 18 School. In September 2017, we became an 11 – 18 High School.
