Greetings All,
My name is Mrs. Patricia Harrison and I am a professional educator who believes that all students can learn and thrive in an environment that is inviting, empowering, stimulating, and conducive to their individual learning styles, capabilities, talents, and willingness to demonstrate progress and growth.
I am a veteran teacher who teaches English Language Arts and I follow the curriculum and standards set by the State of Georgia. I write lesson plans that are rigorous, while meeting the needs and abilities of students. I also differentiate lessons, provide diverse learning strategies, and engage students in various forms of reading, writing, and speaking.
In addition to the day to day classroom duties and responsibilities, I am coordinator for the District Spelling Bee competition, was nominated as Teacher of the Year, actively involved in numerous events at BMS, and serves on various social, civic, and religious organizations.
I have a passion for teaching and it gives me great joy in watching new found knowledge being unfolded in students. It is truly and honor to teach your child this school year and if you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
