She’s given back to the country that helped her. Daisy Bates was born on 11 November 1914 and died on 4 November 1999.
She was known amongst the aboriginals she was a guide, counsellor, friend and universal provider to them some of them even called her Kabbalist meaning “Grandmother”.
Daisy Bates was a journalist. She set up camps to feed, clothe and nurse to the Aboriginals. Some people said that she would hold pistols even at old age to threaten the police when they would mistreat “her” Aboriginals.
She had migrated to Australia. She was born at Hutting, Arkansas, United States but has done amazing things for Australia. She cared for the Aborigines a lot and helped them and looked after them.
She has helped Australian Aboriginal and was a supporter in the Aboriginal people's lives. She is really amazing in my opinion.
