MRS. WARNER
3rd Grade ELA & Social Studies
Hello! My name is Emma Warner and I will be your student's ELA/social studies teacher this year. I am a lifelong resident of Dayton and even stayed here for college! I received my B.S. in Elementary Education in 2019 and my M.Ed. in Classroom Instruction in 2021, both from Bryan College. When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me reading, crafting, cheering on the Tennessee Vols, or finding a new hiking trail with my husband, Jonathan. I can't wait to meet your student and make some wonderful memories this year! Go Sweat Bees!

CLASSWORK POLICIES
Graded work will generally be sent home on Mondays. Please look it over, sign off on it, and return it the next day in your student's folder.
Assignments that receive a score below a 70 may be corrected for credit up to a 70, as long as it is turned in within a two week time frame.
When absent, students will have the same number of days as their absence to complete their make up work (ex. If they are out 2 days, they'll have 2 days to make it up once they return.). After that time has passed, the work will be considered late and will lose an additional 5 points each day that it is not turned in.
I do not assign daily homework (though we may have study guides, extra reading, or projects that require work at home from time to time), but I do expect students to read for at least 20 minutes each day at home.
