Dear Dayspring Academy Supporter,


Thank you for visiting the Dayspring Academy web page. Dayspring Academy is committed to providing high-quality education to learners in grades Pre- K through 12th grade and college. Dayspring provides an academically rich curriculum using the arts, technology, and embracing creativity and collaboration. Dayspring is determined not only in preparing learners academically, but we strive to instill quality character and values in our learners to make a lasting positive impact in the community and in the world.


Our Board of Directors is comprised of volunteers who reside in Pasco County and are committed to education.  The Board is diverse and each member uniquely brings their expertise, professionalism and passion for improving public education for all students.  We welcome you to contact us if you have any questions or need further information.

PARENT GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE


If a parent has a grievance, complaint, or needs assistance, please follow the process below:







If still unresolved, you may bring the issue directly to the board by completing a board resolution form and emailing it to the board at grievance@dayspringacademy.org. Incomplete forms or forms that need more information may be returned for more information prior to launching a grievance review.


A board member will be assigned to investigate the grievance review. Please note, if you have not completed steps 1-3, the assigned board member will not be able to proceed with the grievance review until steps 1-3 are complete.


Upon completion of the grievance review, the board member will make a recommendation to the entire Dayspring Board at a scheduled board meeting. All decisions made by the board are final and cannot be appealed.  A final report will be emailed to the complainant within 45 days of the board's decision.


Dayspring Board meets every other month on the last Monday of the           month.


BOARD MEMBER APPLICATION PROCESS

Dayspring Academy is a public charter school located in Pasco County, FL, and is run by a private Board of Directors. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a member of our governing Board, complete a Board Member Application

Our Board of Directors and Administration will review your information. If a Board position becomes available, you will be given the opportunity to interview with our Board. If we do not have an opening at this time, we will keep your information on file in the event an opening becomes available. 

Dayspring Board Meetings are held on the last Monday of each month, with the exception of November – December and June – July. They are held at our Ovation Campus located at 8330 Dayspring Academy Way, Port Richey, FL 34668 unless otherwise noted. Upcoming Board meeting dates are listed on the left.
