Click to Download the DAWn App
Open the DAWn app, click "Get Started", and follow the onscreen instructions to create your account
Click to Download the DAWn Plugin
Open the installer and follow the onscreen instructions
Open the "DAWn Plugin" on your "Master" or "Stereo Out" Track
NOTE: If your DAW was open prior to installing the plugin, please quit and reopen your DAW
Open the DAWn App: Go to the DAWn desktop app
Get Plugin Key: Navigate to the Settings page, click “Get Plugin Key,” and then click “Copy Plugin Key.”
Open the Plugin: Inside your DAW, locate the DAWn Plugin interface.
Update API Key: Click the “Update API Key” button in the bottom right of the plugin window.
Paste the Plugin Key: In the window that opens, paste your copied Plugin Key and click “Submit.”
NOTE: You should receive a notification confirming that the plugin has been activated successfully.
Open the DAWn App: Go to the DAWn desktop app
Link Ableton: Navigate to the Settings page, select Ableton as your DAW, click "Integrate" and then "Open" in the window that pops up
Open Ableton Settings: In Ableton, go to “Live” in the top left of your screen and select “Preferences.”
Access MIDI Settings: In the Preferences window, select “Link, Tempo, MIDI” from the left-hand navbar.
Set Up DAWn Control Surface:
Under the MIDI section, locate an available row.
In the “Control Surface” column, select “DAWn” from the dropdown menu.
In the “Input” column of the same row, select “DAWnMIDI.”
NOTE: If DAWn doesn’t appear in the “Control Surface” column, try quitting and reopening Ableton to refresh the list
