To register for a Piedmont Triad Education Consortium Professional Development, please complete the following steps:

  1. Determine which TWO professional development opportunities you would like to attend by exploring the Piedmont Triad Education Consortium Professional Development Sessions Brochure.
  2. After you have chosen the two sessions you are interested in, please email the Principal for approval. Please remember that you are limited to two workshops per year and also that you do not register yourself.
  3. When you have received Principal approval, please email Misty Hutchens at huthcensm@davie.k12.nc.us with your request and she will register you for the workshop(s). Please note: If DCS spaces are filled, Misty will add you to the wait-list.
  4. After you have been registered for the workshop, you will receive an email confirmation from PTEC. Please remember to secure a sub in Subfinder and complete and submit your "Request For Approval to Attend In-Service Activity" Form.

Remember, there should only be one representative from each grade level and/or department registered for a workshop. That person can share the workshop information with their grade level and/or department when they return
