Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books is a contest for high school students in Iowa. Teams of 3 (plus an alternate) read a total of 12 books.

Two teams will go on to the Eastern Iowa High School competition at the Bettendorf Public Library in April.  The Battle will occur during the school day and a pizza lunch will be provided.  There will also be a short, individual competition after the team competition. 

Battle of the Books Teams at Central will get to partially select the books they read, are encouraged to take notes for each book, and will meet regularly as a group.
