Book Fair

Tomorrow is the last day.  Click here to create an eWallet for your student to shop at the book fair or shop online.

Our book fair will be open after school until 5PM Tuesday 9.15 through Friday 9.18.  It will also be open during generations days 8-9AM on Thursday 9.17 and Friday 9.18.  Your student may also shop during their classroom library time.  We accept eWallet, cash, credit cards, and checks.

Breakfast with Buddies

Popcorn Friday

PTA will give each student one bag of popcorn. Please let teachers know if your student will need dye free popcorn. Popcorn is made in a nut free facility.

Davenport Swim Team

I am Kyle Verdon and I am the head coach of the Davenport Swim team. New this year, we are a one team district so all elementary schools are our feeder! We also share a co-op with Assumption.

With that in mind, we’d love to invite all K–5 students to come out and support the team at our next home meet on Tuesday, September 22nd ! Come cheer on our athletes, watch some exciting races, and then jump in the pool with us after the meet! 

They can play in the shallow end, race the members on the team, play games, jump off the diving board, etc. All of my staff is lifeguard certified and also many of my athletes are lifeguards at the local pools.  

The meet will start with diving @5:30 and then swimming to follow. We will have the pool open for about 45 minutes to an hour after the meet is done.

Quest for Christ

Quest for Christ will be meeting at Blue Grass again this year!  If you have a 2nd-5th grader interested in learning about the Bible and Jesus- we would love to have them join us.  We start on Wednesday Sept. 30th at 8am.  We will meet once per week on Wednesday mornings from 8am until the school day begins.  Each week we will have Bible teaching, songs, small group activities and FUN!  You can register your child at this link:

Please consider signing up to volunteer for your school! The required paperwork can be found at https://dcsdvolunteers.quickapp.pro/. Approved volunteers can assist within the building and on study trips to community locations for 3 years before needing to reapply.

Please consider signing up to be a Junior Achievement Volunteer! Junior Achievement aims to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
