We will have the first responders in our school parking lot handing out candy during trick or treat. (A fire truck, ambulance, and police car). We will be giving away 300 first responder stickers to our Blue Grass families, while supplies last. You may also get candy from any first responder vehicles in town. Friday 10.31.25 from 5-7PM.
Picture Retake day is November 5th. Please make sure that your child's teacher is aware that they need retakes that day.

VETERANS THE LAND OF THE free BECAUSE OF THE brave BLUE GRASS VETERANS DAY EVENT - NOVEMBER 14th at 9:30am
Blue Grass School will be hosting a very special Veterans Day event this year on Friday, November 14, 2025. We are excited to host this event to recognize veterans in our community! We appreciate all they have done to protect and serve our country. All Veterans are invited to this event. We will recognize all branches of service and encourage our local Blue Grass American Legion Post 711 to attend, as well. We are also asking for local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts to wear their sashes and vests for the event and help the Legion with our color guard ceremony to kick off the event. Jr Panthers Boys Basketball
Grades 3rd-6th
For students from Blue Grass, Buffalo, and Walcott Schools.
Cost: $70 - Players will receive a reversible jersey, team t-shirt, and personal basketball ($50 if no jersey is needed)
Practice: January 8th- February 24th in Blue Grass, Buffalo, or Walcott
6:00-7:30 pm on Tuesday & Thursday
Games: Thursdays, January 29th- February 26th at Walcott School. (when games start, no practice on Thursdays)
