Wildcat Families, we are releasing Fun Night Raffle Tickets differently than we used to. This year we have decided to take pre-orders for books of ten raffle tickets. In a couple weeks we will send home a Raffle Ticket Pre-Order Form. You will list how many books of ten (20 books max to start) raffle tickets you’d like your child to bring home. We ask that you don’t request more than you’ll think you’ll sell. Once those are sold you can request more.

A top priority at Blue Grass Elementary School is to have excellent school safety. To make sure this happens in the parking lot, we ask that you follow these procedures when dropping off and picking up your student.
As you enter the parking lot follow the arrows to the South end by the playground. Students should: exit the passenger side of the car, walk up the sidewalk to the crosswalk lines and crossing guards, then cross and enter the building in the 6E bus doors. If you are walking your student to the door or standing at the doors at the end of the day, please also use the crossing lines. There is no stopping or dropping off along the yellow curbs/fire lanes. The handicapped parking area is not a drop off or pick up location.
BEFORE SCHOOL SUPPORTS
Students should arrive to school at 8:45am or later. There is no supervision until that time. Breakfast is from 8:45-9:05am. The tardy bell is at 9:05am. Walkers enter front doors 1E and bus & car riders enter 6E bus doors.
Intramurals
Intramurals are for 4th and 5th grade only. Please do not drop off students before 8:10 as there is no supervision for them. Intramurals are from 8:10-8:50. Please see the dates below.
4th Grade 8:10-8:50AM = Wednesdays
5th Grade 8:10-8:50AM = Thursdays
If you would like to be able to volunteer you must complete the online volunteer form. Once you are approved it is good for 3 years. Please follow this link for the form.
