Hello!! I am so happy to be part of the Hartsville Middle School team as a sixth grade science teacher! I am entering my fifth year of teaching, and I am honored to have found such a wonderful career in education. Prior to education, I worked as a microbiologist for Nestle Waters North America (now BlueTriton Brands) for three years.

I live in Hartsville, SC with my wonderful miniature dachshund puppy, Luna. I have my bachelors degree in Biology from Converse University. I also have my masters degree in Education with a focus in STEAM education from Clemson University. Outside of school, I am an avid traveler and love to experience the world. I also love to read, cook, and bake!!

I absolutely love science and love sharing my joy of the subject with my students every day. I love watching my students grow as scientists each day, and I cannot wait to see my students grow each and every day!
