The first few times students use Flipgrid, they may feel uncomfortable because the topics that are discussed on Flipgrid are likely different from the topics students voluntarily post on social media. For this reason, Flipgrid is a valuable tool to help students learn to share their thoughts on important topics.

Clips is a video editing tool designed to weave together photos and videos, all while letting users add elements like filters, emojis, and text. ... While it's not a fully-fledged video editing tool, Clips could be useful for making quick videos to share on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube.

iMovie:

What is the tool good for?

iMovie is an excellent video editing tool. You can import videos, pictures, and audio and combine them to create high-quality videos. Students can work against a green screen which enables them to add other pictures and video in the background. You can also add voice over to any of your video.

How does it fit with your Technology Portfolio? You can easily use all of your video and pictures to make the video portion. Set up titles, transitions, etc. You can also remove green screen to reveal a placed image behind your videos.

How can it help your PLC? If you want to present a video, it is basically drag and drop from your library. Easily edited. Can have layers with titles, over the video, over a background to make more interesting.
