You can now annotate documents directly in Apple's word processor application Pages.

Apple's Schoolwork app will work similarly to Google Classroom, but it can also go a step further and allow you to assign and assess in-app class activities like a Kahoot! quiz, AR geometry exploration, and Nearpod lessons.

In conjunction with educators, Apple is designing curriculum material that focuses on project-based learning; video, photography, music, and drawing will be the highlights for content creation on iPads.
