What is the BAGANI?
BAGANI (Rising Leaders’ Development Program) is a nationwide initiative by the Development Academy of the Philippines that develops young leaders aged 18–30 across three target groups: government youth leaders, student leaders, and private sector and civil society leaders. The program engages participants through BAGANI Open Learning, four micro-credential modules reaching over 2,000 learners, and the BAGANI Fellowship, a two-batch intensive residency where exceptional 100 fellows design and implement Catalyst Projects supported by mentorship, peer collaboration, and international immersion.
BAGANI (both Open Learning and Fellowship) is a fully funded leadership program supported through the General Appropriations Act (GAA) of the national government. No fees shall be charged to selected learners and fellows. Program support covers LMS fees (for Open Learning) and major Fellowship-related expenses, including accommodation, meals, and official travel, subject to established program guidelines.
