Lanchester Primary School serves Watford, which is a vibrant and thriving community.  The school was set up in 2014 and is situated in a beautiful and unique listed building that is a well-known landmark in Watford town centre.  It is very close to many interesting and useful local features and amenities, such as the Watford Central Library, Cassiobury Park, West Herts College and the Watford Central Sports Centre, run by Everyone Active.  The school is lucky to be able to make use of all of these opportunities to enrich the learning of our children.

The staff at Lanchester share a common commitment and passion for the life chances of the school’s children.  They work hard to make sure that all children succeed and thrive - and, most importantly, that they develop a love for learning.

The children are definitely the jewels in the crown and are a constant pleasure to work with.  The school is supported by an active PTA and Governing Body (with several parent members) and the Trust itself is tremendously supportive.

This is a lovely school that is growing and improving all the time.  The aim is to become one of the schools of choice for all children in this part of Watford.
