Job description

Open the site and click on the ‘example job’ page from the menu on the right hand side titled ‘pages’. You will also find these instructions on that page.

Duplicate this page by hovering over 'example job' on the pages tab on the right hand side, three dots will appear, click these and select 'duplicate page'

Name the new page with the title of the role you are listing. Once the new page has been created then add your job description and in this box and overwrite these instructions. Return to the 'example job' and follow the same steps to duplicate and rename the two sub pages 'Headteacher's intro' and 'knowledge and experience' rename these to include the role you are creating.

You will need to check the buttons on the bottom of the page to ensure they link to the pages in your new job. Double click on the button and then the pencil and there will be a dropdown of all of the pages within your site, select the correct one. You will need to do this one three pages: JD page, HT intro page, Knowledge and experience page.

Use the three dots menu to make the page visible clicking 'show in navigation' once you are happy. It will then appear in the top right hand menu.

Don't forget to publish and then use this URL to add to my new term (once the page link has been added to MyNewTerm you can make any changes here you need and the link will stay the same).

Finally take the URL for the job application on My New Term and add it to the 'apply now' button. This is done by clicking on the 'apply now' button so that the pencil icon appears, click on the pencil and add the URL where it says 'link'. Don’t forget to do this on the three pages the button
