We are seeking an exceptional and motivated teacher to join our leadership team as a School Development Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner who is passionate about school improvement, curriculum development, and supporting colleagues to achieve the very best outcomes for all children.
This role is ideal for an ambitious teacher looking to develop their leadership experience while making a significant impact across the school.
Please note that this position is offered on a fixed-term basis initially, with the potential for extension subject to successful performance and impact within the leadership role.
The Role
The Role
As a School Development Lead, you will:
Lead and strategically develop a core subject area (Reading, Writing or Mathematics).
Drive improvements in teaching, learning and pupil outcomes across your subject.
Work alongside the Senior Leadership Team as a member of the extended leadership team to lead and monitor a key area of the School Development Plan.
Acted as the main liaison for parents to address behavioral issues and student welfare concerns within a designated phase or year group/s.
Support, coach and act as a professional liaison for teachers within a designated phase and/or year group/s of the school.
Facilitate collaboration, consistency and high standards across year groups.
Monitor standards, analyse assessment information and identify priorities for improvement.
Lead staff training and share best practice across the school.
Contribute to the wider leadership and strategic direction of the school.
