Course Description - .5 credit (semester course) This course is designed to bring to life the historical investigation of Hollywood’s portrayal of history. Students will examine both the realities and misconceptions of films dealing with American and world events in the time period between American independence and the Civil War (1776 – 1865). This non-traditional learning experience will require independent research, analysis, interpretation, and cooperative learning skills. Prerequisite: World Studies.
