This is just a suggested list of nominated and award-winning books.
You may choose any book you like, but to complete the chart on the back page, you need to read one of each: a novel in verse, a fiction book, and a nonfiction book.

From May 9th through September 12th, kids can visit the summer zone in Scholastic Home Base, a completely free digital destination which offers stories, characters, games, and a community of readers.
KERA Summer Learning Challenge
KERA’s Summer Learning Challenge is back! This FREE program keeps kids ages 4 to 10 engaged with a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) focus through PBS KIDS characters, hands-on activities, and more.
